The company is registered in the Czech Republic. The site is written for readers in Australia, in Australian English, and uses Australian regulators and services as its reference points, because that is who it is for. Where content is attributed at all, it is attributed to the Katepak servis s.r.o. editorial team. We do not publish author personas, staff biographies or photographs, because inventing them would be the easiest way to make this site less honest than it is.
What the site covers, and what it deliberately does not
Ignite Works covers one narrow subject: getting an online multiplayer military vehicle game running on a desktop computer, and understanding your position as a consumer if money or personal information becomes involved. That scope is chosen because it is the part of the category where clear, static, practical writing genuinely helps, and where the same questions come up repeatedly.
The site does not review games, does not score them, does not publish prices or system requirements, and does not tell you which game to play. Those things change with every release, and a page repeating them from memory ages into something misleading. Where a fact belongs to the vendor — pricing, requirements, current content, support policy — we say so and point you at the source.
The editorial method, stated plainly
This is the part most sites are vague about, so here it is directly.
Coverage is limited to one product we have a commercial relationship with. Ignite Works has an affiliate arrangement with the advertiser for War Thunder, a multiplayer military vehicle game developed and published by Gaijin Entertainment. When a reader follows one of our links and registers an account, we are paid a commission. War Thunder is therefore the worked example throughout the site. We do not claim to survey the category, and we do not present a narrow commercial scope as broad independence.
What that arrangement does influence: which product appears as the example, and the fact that paid links exist on this site at all.
What it does not influence: the troubleshooting content. The steps on each symptom page are ordered by what resolves the most cases for the least effort and risk, not by what leads anywhere commercial. Several pages recommend against spending money, one of them explicitly carries no affiliate link at all, and none of the fixes require buying anything.
How pages are ordered: by symptom, in the order a reader is most likely to encounter them, starting from setup and moving through installation, launch, performance and platform-specific behaviour. Nothing in that order is sold.
What we will not do: publish invented statistics, testimonials, review scores or expert quotes; imply endorsement by any game publisher; present advertising as editorial; or use urgency, scarcity or alarm to move a reader along. If a claim cannot be supported by a primary source we can link, it is either phrased as general guidance or left out.
Accuracy and corrections
Pages are reviewed periodically and carry the date of the most recent review in the footer. Software changes, and some of this advice will eventually go out of date; a page that has not been checked in a while is a page to treat with a little more scepticism, which is why the date is there.
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Email info@igniteworks.online with the page and what is incorrect. We would rather correct a page than defend it.
What we are not
Ignite Works is not the official site of War Thunder or of any other game, is not operated by or on behalf of Gaijin Entertainment or any game publisher, and is not an authorised reseller, partner or support channel for any of them. We hold no information about your account and can take no action on it. Anything that needs to happen to an account happens through the vendor.
War Thunder and all other product names, logos and brands mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners.
How the site treats readers
There is no form anywhere on this site, no newsletter, no account and no chat widget. The site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, carries no advertising tags and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. There is consequently no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy describe exactly that, and nothing they describe is hypothetical.
