Privacy Policy

Effective date: 18 September 2026

This policy describes what actually happens on igniteworks.online. The site has no forms, no accounts and no tracking, so most of it is a description of what is not collected.

1. Who is responsible for your information

The controller of any personal information described in this policy is:

  • Katepak servis s.r.o.
  • Zenklova 24/54, Libeň, 180 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic
  • Company number: 11854111
  • VAT: CZ11854111
  • Email: info@igniteworks.online

Katepak servis s.r.o. publishes the website at igniteworks.online under the name Ignite Works. This policy is written with reference to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, because the site is directed at readers in Australia.

2. What is collected

Three categories, and no others.

Nothing through the website itself

There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no account, no search box that records queries, no quiz, no download gate and no chat widget anywhere on this site. There is no field on any page for you to type into. The site sets no cookies of its own, permits no third party to set cookies through it, and uses no localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or browser fingerprinting. It loads no analytics, no advertising tags, no conversion pixels, no social media embeds, no externally hosted fonts and no third-party scripts of any kind.

Ordinary server logs kept by the hosting provider

Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider whose servers record a standard log entry for each request. Those entries contain the IP address the request came from, the browser's user agent string, the URL requested, the time of the request, the response code and the referring URL if the browser sends one. We do not combine these entries with anything else, do not use them to build a profile of you, and do not attempt to identify individual readers from them.

Whatever you put in an email

If you write to info@igniteworks.online, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever else you choose to include. We ask you not to send personal information beyond what is needed to answer your question, and never to send passwords, payment details or identity documents.

3. Why, and on what basis

Purpose and basis for each category
CategoryPurposeBasis
Server logs Keeping the site available, diagnosing errors, and identifying abuse such as attacks or automated scraping Our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website. There is no consent basis because no cookie or similar technology is used
Email correspondence Reading and answering your message, and keeping a record of corrections raised about the site Your own decision to contact us, and our legitimate interest in responding

No information from either category is used for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making, and none of it is sold, rented or shared for anyone else's advertising.

4. How long it is kept

  • Server logs: retained by the hosting provider for up to 12 months, then deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course of the provider's operations.
  • Email correspondence: retained for up to 24 months from the last message in the exchange, then deleted. Where a message relates to a correction we have made to the site, a note of the correction may be kept without the correspondence attached to it.

If you ask us to delete correspondence sooner, we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

5. Who else sees it, and where they are

One third party: the hosting provider that operates the servers this site runs on, which necessarily processes requests and holds the server logs described above. There is no other recipient. We do not use an analytics provider, an advertising network, a content delivery network, an email marketing platform or a font host, so none of them receives anything.

Cross-border disclosure (Australian Privacy Principle 8). Katepak servis s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic and the hosting infrastructure for this site is located outside Australia, in Europe. If you are in Australia, information described in this policy — your IP address in a server log, or the contents of an email you send us — is therefore disclosed to and handled by recipients outside Australia. By using this site or emailing us, you should understand that your information is handled overseas, where the protections available may differ from those under Australian law.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, so what passes between your browser and the server is encrypted in transit. Access to the mailbox and to the hosting account is limited to the people at Katepak servis s.r.o. who need it, and is protected by strong authentication. Because the site collects nothing, there is no database of reader information to breach — which is the most effective security measure available and the reason the site is built this way.

7. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles

If you are in Australia, you may ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. In practice, the only information we are likely to hold is correspondence you have sent us.

Write to info@igniteworks.online. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for making a request.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which is the national privacy regulator: www.oaic.gov.au. The OAIC will normally expect you to have raised the matter with us first.

8. Notifiable data breaches

If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm to any individual whose information we hold, we will notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

9. Children

This site is not directed at people under 16 and collects nothing from anyone, including them. We do not knowingly hold personal information about a child. If a child has emailed us and a parent or guardian would like that correspondence deleted, write to us and we will delete it.

10. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom

Katepak servis s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the General Data Protection Regulation applies to its processing, and equivalent United Kingdom rules apply to readers there.

The legal basis relied on for server logs and for correspondence is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f): operating a secure website and answering messages sent to us. There is no consent basis in use, because the site sets no cookies and uses no similar technology, so there is nothing to consent to.

You have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. Requests go to info@igniteworks.online. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), or the authority in your own country of residence.

This site links to external websites, including government bodies, a game vendor and a paid affiliate link, which are identified as such wherever they appear. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else's website, subject to their privacy practices rather than ours. We have no control over and take no responsibility for what other operators do with your information.

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new effective date at the top. Material changes — for example, if the site were ever to introduce a form, an analytics tool or a cookie — would be made here before the change went live, not afterwards, together with any consent mechanism required.
